Dr Mo qualified from The University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2003 with Final MB distinction.

Dr Mo has earned a Bachelors of Science degree with honours in medical genetics with honours and Masters of Science degree in medical education.
​
Dr Mo started his specialist training in Rheumatology in Wales in 2006 and became a Consultant in 2011.
​
Dr Mo has worked as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust) until 2016. During this time, he was deputy head of medical finals examinations at Imperial College.
​
Dr Mo joined as a Consultant at Swansea Bay University Health Board in 2016 and has held the position of Clinical Lead since 2020. He has been involved with Medicolegal work since 2017.
​
After work and family, any free time Dr Mo has left is spent reading, exercising and perpetually renovating Victorian houses.
​
His literature interests include risk probability, human psychology and behavioural economics.
​
Dr Mo is fluent in Cantonese. He is currently learning French, reaching upper intermediate B2 level after 4 months.
